{"id":51029,"date":"2017-05-29T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2017-05-28T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.santpol.edu.es\/los-alumnos-del-master-hospitality-management-reciben-una-clase-business-intelligence\/"},"modified":"2017-05-29T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2017-05-28T22:00:00","slug":"los-alumnos-del-master-hospitality-management-reciben-una-clase-business-intelligence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.santpol.edu.es\/en\/blog\/los-alumnos-del-master-hospitality-management-reciben-una-clase-business-intelligence\/","title":{"rendered":"The students of the Master in Hospitality Management have received a business intelligence Masterclass"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Mapal Software has developed &#8220;GirNet&#8221; an online tool specialized in organized restaurant business<\/h3>\n<p>The students of the <a href=\"http:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/en\/studies\/master-in-hospitality-management\/\"><strong>Master in Hospitality Management<\/strong><\/a> have received a <strong>theoretical-practical<\/strong> class on <strong>business intelligence<\/strong>. <strong>Carlos Gamallo<\/strong>, commercial, marketing, sales, and communication director of <a href=\"http:\/\/mapalsoftware.com\/\"><strong>Mapal Software<\/strong><\/a> has imparted it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1170902.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-16505\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-16505\" src=\"http:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1170902.jpg\" alt=\"P1170902\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a>Camayo has spoken about <strong>&#8220;GirNet&#8221;<\/strong> a product specialized in the <strong>organized restaurant business<\/strong> that is succeeding among great <strong>brands<\/strong> such as La Tagliatella, Udon, Ginos&#8230; In addition, it used by<strong> recognized chefs<\/strong> like the ones of BarriAdri\u00e0. Mapal Software is also expanding their product in countries like <strong>Poland<\/strong> or <strong>USA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cGirNet\u201d<\/strong> is an online <strong>tool<\/strong> that has been created to manage restaurants <strong>Back Office<\/strong>. It applies scientific and mathematic approach and business knowledge due to optimizing difficult tasks that are usually done by Microsoft Excel or without technologies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EUHT StPOL<\/strong> students have <strong>tested<\/strong> the tool during the session. First, Carlos Gamallo has explained how the product was created emphasizing that <strong>\u201cGirNet\u201d<\/strong> is a Spanish <em>startup<\/em> project that has grown progressively. He has also explained to the students how does the tool work at <strong>professional<\/strong> <strong>sector<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the students have <strong>practiced<\/strong> with the tool. They have done a <strong>sales<\/strong> <strong>forecast<\/strong> and have organized a <strong>restaurant turn<\/strong>. Finally, the professor and the students have <strong>compared<\/strong> the results of the <strong>\u201cGirNet\u201d<\/strong> tasks with the handmade ones.<\/p>\n<p>Gamallo says that \u201cit is so important to teach methodologies like <strong>\u201cGirNet\u201d<\/strong> at educational centers like <strong>EUHT StPOL<\/strong>\u201d. He thinks that it is fundamental for the students to <strong>know<\/strong> the technological <strong>facilities<\/strong> they have in the <strong>work<\/strong> atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>students<\/strong> have <strong>appreciated<\/strong> the visit of Carlos Gamallo. \u201cI think has been very interesting to know the existence of a program like this and the possibility of planning a shift in half an hour instead of a week like we are used to\u201d, says <strong>Elena Gobetti, a student from Italy.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Mapal Software has developed &#8220;GirNet&#8221;
