Organized and promoted by the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/igcat.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IGCAT<\/a><\/strong> (International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Art and Tourism) together with the <strong>European Region of Gastronomy<\/strong> platform, is the second consecutive year that takes place in our facilities. The event will have the support of <strong>Prodeca<\/strong> and the <strong>Catalan<\/strong> <strong>Tourism<\/strong> <strong>Agency<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The world-renowned chef <strong>Joan<\/strong> <strong>Roca<\/strong> is the ambassador of the competition which highlights that &#8220;The European Young Chef Award offers future professionals not only the opportunity to demonstrate their worth in a contest, using their ability to create innovative recipes based on the culinary roots of their regions, but also gives them a great opportunity to learn from each other, discover other culinary cultures and share knowledge and experiences&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/facebook-cover-2017.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-17405\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-17405 \" src=\"http:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/facebook-cover-2017.jpg\" alt=\"facebook cover 2017\" width=\"536\" height=\"204\" \/><\/a>The international contest brings together <strong>10 young chefs<\/strong> &#8211; between 18 and 26 years old &#8211; finalists from different European regions with the aim of achieving the best dish.
