Yesterday, Tuesday 19th<\/sup> June, The World\u2019s 50 best<\/strong> gala was held in Bilbao, known as the Oscars of the gastronomy, where it was unveiled the list of the world\u2019s 50 best restaurants.<\/h2>\n

The top winners of the list were:<\/p>\n

  1. Osteria Francescana (M\u00f3dena, Italy) \u2013 Massimo Bottura<\/li>\n
  2. El Celler de Can Roca (Girona, Spain) \u2013 Joan Roca<\/li>\n
  3. Mirazur (Menton, France) \u2013 Mauro Colagreco<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    And now, you might be wondering \u00bfwhat do these chefs have in common, other than gathering 8 Michelin stars?<\/p>\n

    Well, is true that they are the world\u2019s best, but other than appearing in The World\u2019s 50 best <\/strong><\/a>and having several Michelin stars, there is something that hits home and makes us proud to highlight: here in our little Hotel-School<\/strong> we have had the honour to welcome these 3 great awarded Chefs at least once in the last 5 years. All of them came to Sant Pol de Mar to host a masterclass<\/strong> in our lecture hall, to chair one of our cooking contests, or to be a part of a round table in some of our international events.<\/p>\n
