The students of the Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management and those studying the Technical Degree in Gastronomy and Restaurant Service have experienced from first-hand the functionalities of this platform that allows digitalizing some aspects of a restaurant, like its reservations.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Technology is increasingly an essential part of restaurants, since in many cases it allows to streamline and optimize processes. And in this procedure of digitizing a restaurant, tools such as reservation management systems are an important part of it.<\/p>\n<p>According to a survey conducted by the Spanish Hospitality Federation in 2018, 39% of restaurants and hotel establishments have a booking or online reputation management tool. And the survey also points out that in restaurants, <strong>El Tenedor<\/strong> is the most used portal for this purpose.<\/p>\n<p>The weight of this platform in the restaurant sector makes it an element of study by the students of the <strong>University College of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts of Sant Pol de Mar<\/strong> (EUHT StPOL) that in the future will become professionals in the sector of the hospitality, restaurant or events, among others.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-19977 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/tenedor_m.jpg\" alt=\"Gesti\u00f3n reservas restaurante El Tenedor EUHT StPOL\" width=\"960\" height=\"750\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Professional seminars<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>On this matter, this week the students of the third year of the <a href=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/en\/studies\/bachelor-degree-in-hospitality-and-tourism-management\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management<\/a> and of the <a href=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/en\/studies\/technical-degree-in-gastronomy-and-restaurant-service\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Technical Degree in Gastronomy and Restaurant Service<\/a> have participated in a seminar given by El Tenedor to learn first-hand the operation of this restaurant reservation management platform.<\/p>\n<p>How to enter customer data, write down and \/ or cancel reservations, manage the database and use marketing tools to keep track of them have been some of the contents of the professional seminar with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eltenedor.es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">El Tenedor<\/a>, a platform with a presence in 17 countries and with more than 65,000 restaurants; 11,000 of them in Spain.<\/p>\n<p>The<strong> professional seminars<\/strong> aim to expand and complement the training received by the students of the different academic programs of EUHT StPOL.
