The benefits of the Charity Dinner were given to El Banc dels Aliments for their child nutrition project.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]Yesterday, Thursday February 27<sup>th<\/sup>, the facilities of the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hotelgransol.info\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Hotel Gran Sol<\/a> hosted the<strong> first edition of the Charity Dinner<\/strong> of the University College of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts of Sant Pol de Mar (EUHT StPOL). The Charity Dinner was promoted by the students of the concentration in Gastronomy, Restaurants and Events Management of the <a href=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/en\/bachelor-degree-in-hospitality-and-tourism-management\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management.<\/strong><\/a> In fact, it was the third year student of this concentration who were responsible for organizing the different phases of the project: dissemination, menu design, contact with suppliers, search for sponsors, etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>132 people participated in the Charity Dinner<\/strong> prepared by the students and the team of teachers of the Hotel-School of Sant Pol de Mar from the products donated by the sponsoring and collaborating companies of the event.<\/p>\n<p>In total, <strong>the initiative allowed to collect \u20ac 4,545 <\/strong>as a result of the sum of the tickets sold for the Charity Dinner, the donations and the tickets for the raffle of gifts given by the companies and collaborating entities.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the Charity Dinner, the CEO of EUHT StPOL, Llu\u00eds Serra, together with the students who promoted the event, delivered the funds collected to the delegate of the Maresme area of \u200b\u200b<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bancdelsaliments.org\/ca\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">El Banc dels Aliments<\/a>, Cesareo Villagr\u00e0. <strong>The \u20ac 4,545 raised will go to the Banc dels Aliments child nutrition project<\/strong>: they will be used to buy A2 continuity infant milk, baby food and porridge.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>First edition of a project with the will to continue<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Charity Dinner has been an initiative promoted for the first time this 2020 from EUHT StPOL as a solidarity project, but also as part of the student learning process. The Charity Dinner has allowed the students who study the <strong>concentration in Gastronomy, Restaurants and Events Management of the Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management<\/strong> not only to know all the phases of the organization of an event of these characteristics but also and above all, to put them into practice. A factor that aligns with the EUHT StPOL methodology: <strong>learning by doing.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Given the good results of the first edition of the Charity Dinner, the will is to consolidate it as an annual initiative that allows EUHT StPOL to collaborate with projects of entities of the third sector or of a social
