{"id":52476,"date":"2020-05-04T15:02:22","date_gmt":"2020-05-04T13:02:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.santpol.edu.es\/masterclass-online-de-oriol-castro-chef-del-restaurante-disfrutar-considerado-el-9o-mejor-del-mundo\/"},"modified":"2020-05-04T15:41:30","modified_gmt":"2020-05-04T13:41:30","slug":"masterclass-online-oriol-castro-chef-restaurant-disfrutar-barcelona","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.santpol.edu.es\/en\/blog\/masterclass-online-oriol-castro-chef-restaurant-disfrutar-barcelona\/","title":{"rendered":"Online masterclass by Oriol Castro, chef of Disfrutar restaurant, considered the 9th best in the world"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>The students of the Master in Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management of EUHT StPOL have attended, these days, an online masterclass by Oriol Castro, chef of the restaurant Disfrutar in Barcelona, considered the ninth best restaurant in the world according to The World&#8217;s 50 Best Restaurants 2019 and with two Michelin stars since 2017.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]Despite the fact that the academic activity is now online as a consequence of the measures adopted by the Covid-19, the students of the <strong>Master in Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management<\/strong> of EUHT StPOL continue with their lessons taught by prestigious chefs and experienced professionals in the culinary sector.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, this week they have attended <strong>an online masterclass taught by Oriol Castro<\/strong>, who together with Eduard Xatruch and Mateu Casa\u00f1as are the chefs of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.disfrutarbarcelona.com\/web\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Disfrutar<\/a> restaurant in Barcelona, \u200b\u200bwith 2 Michelin stars, 3 Soles Repsol\u00a0 and considered the 9th best restaurant in the world according to the list <a href=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/blog\/los-oscar-de-la-gastronomia-que-conexion-tienen-con-euht-stpol\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The World&#8217;s 50 Best Restaurants 2019<\/a>. At the same time, Castro, Xatruch and Casa\u00f1as are also chefs of the restaurant <a href=\"http:\/\/www.compartircadaques.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Compartir<\/a>, in Cadaqu\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>During the masterclass, the chef explained the history of the Compartir restaurant, opened in 2012; and<strong> their previous steps as chefs in elBulli restaurant of Ferran Adri\u00e0,<\/strong> as well as their experience in creating the Disfrutar restaurant in Barcelona. At the same time, during the session Castro has shared with the students his knowledge about how to create a restaurant business (priorities, advice and examples), and he has answered questions and concerns about creative processes and team management, among others.<\/p>\n<p>The session has ended with an explanation of some <strong>culinary techniques<\/strong> used in the Disfrutar restaurant.[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=&#8221;flexslider_slide&#8221;
