{"id":53189,"date":"2020-06-15T15:44:05","date_gmt":"2020-06-15T13:44:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.santpol.edu.es\/retomamos-la-actividad-presencial-en-euht-stpol\/"},"modified":"2020-06-29T09:56:45","modified_gmt":"2020-06-29T07:56:45","slug":"we-are-back-in-business-at-euht-stpol","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.santpol.edu.es\/en\/blog\/we-are-back-in-business-at-euht-stpol\/","title":{"rendered":"We are back in business at EUHT StPOL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>Last June 15th we reopened the doors of the University School of Hotel Management and Tourism of Sant Pol de Mar (EUHT StPOL) for the activity in-site and with the implementation of the new prevention and hygiene protocols of the Covid-19.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]Like this, students of the <a href=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/master-en-artes-culinarias-y-direccion-de-cocina\/?utm_source=post&amp;utm_medium=blog&amp;utm_campaign=retomamos_clases\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Master in Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management<\/a> in the Spanish and English version will return to classes, and the students of the <a href=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/grado-univ-en-gestion-hotelera-y-turistica\/?utm_source=post&amp;utm_medium=blog&amp;utm_campaign=retomamos_clases\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/tecnico-en-gastronomia-y-restauracion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Technical Degree in Gastronomy and Restaurant Services<\/a> will begin their summer internships at the Hotel-School facilities. From Wednesday 17th June, L&#8217;Ermita Restaurant and Hotel Gran Sol will reopen their doors to the public.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Visits to the facilities for future students<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In addition, the progressive return to in-site activity also entails resuming <strong>face-to-face visits for future students<\/strong> who want to see the Hotel-School facilities first-hand. Always with appointments and following the Covid-19 protocols that have been implemented in the school.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The arrival of the Covid-19 forced the interruption of classes for the different academic programs taught at EUHT StPOL: university degree, technical degree and masters. In spite of this, <a href=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/en\/blog\/we-carry-out-our-activity-but-now-online\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">teaching continued in an online format since minute one;<\/a> as well as the attention to future students from the admissions department.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We closed the school on Thursday 12th March and on Monday we started using Zoom. In one weekend we adapted all the classes that we were doing in-site to a virtual format. Thus, in addition to<strong> the use of a mask and hydroalcoholic gel for hand hygiene<\/strong>, it is recommended to <strong>maintain a safe distance<\/strong> between people and <strong>avoid touching their eyes, nose and mouth<\/strong>.
