An academic year that incorporates some new features, such as the online and blended version of the Master in Hospitality Management &#8211; which is added to the on-campus edition &#8211; and the preventive measures for Covid-19. If you want to keep up to date with the latest news from the academic year that we are starting, take a few more minutes to read this article.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]With the arrival on September 28 of the first year students of the<strong> Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management<\/strong> and the <strong>Technical Degree in Gastronomy and Restaurant Service<\/strong>, we declare the 2020\/2021 academic year inaugurated; which is marked; among others, by the new protocols and regulations to prevent the spread of Covid-19.<\/p>\n<p>The students of the four courses of the <a href=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/en\/bachelor-degree-in-hospitality-and-tourism-management\/?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=post&amp;utm_campaign=noucurs2020_21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management<\/a> and of the three courses of the <a href=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/en\/technical-degree-in-gastronomy-and-restaurant-service\/?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=post&amp;utm_campaign=noucurs2020_21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Technical Degree in Gastronomy and Restaurant Service<\/a> will be joined shortly by the students of the EUHT StPOL <strong>masters.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It will be next October 5, when classes will begin for the<a href=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/en\/master-in-culinary-arts-and-kitchen-management-english\/?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=post&amp;utm_campaign=noucurs2020_21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> <strong>Master in Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management<\/strong><\/a> (in the Spanish and English version) and the <a href=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/en\/master-in-hospitality-management\/?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=post&amp;utm_campaign=noucurs2020_21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Master in Hospitality Management<\/strong>.<\/a>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Covid-19 prevention measures<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The students of the five on-campus academic programs must follow the preventive measures implemented in EUHT StPOL to guarantee the safety of the students and staff and to minimize the risks of contagion. Some of these measures are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Mandatory mask in all facilities of EUHT StPOL.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Minimum distance of 1.5 meters between people.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Temperature control when accessing the facilities. If it exceeds 37.5\u00ba, access is not allowed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Modification of the access hours of each group to avoid crowds and reduce contact between people.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Installation of hydroalcoholic gel dispensers at different points of EUHT StPOL. Its use is recommended, as well as frequent hand washing with soap and water.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Reduction of the capacity of the classrooms; tables and chairs are separated to guarantee a minimum distance of 1.5 meters between people.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Assignment of classrooms: Each group is assigned to a classroom; students are encouraged to use the same site throughout the day.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Reconversion of stairs and corridors in one-way street to minimize contact between people. It is compulsory to follow the signs and respect the marked circulation circuits.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Detailed information on prevention measures and Covid-19 protocols can be consulted on the website <a href=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/en\/covid-19\/\">https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/en\/covid-19\/<\/a>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Novelties in the new academic year: online and blended programs<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Another <strong>novelty <\/strong>of this 2020\/2021 academic year are the <strong>online programs<\/strong>, as the <a href=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/en\/master-in-hospitality-management-online\/?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=post&amp;utm_campaign=noucurs2020_21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>100% online version of the Master in Hospitality Management<\/strong> <\/a>and the <a href=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/en\/master-in-hospitality-management-blended\/?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=post&amp;utm_campaign=noucurs2020_21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>blended version<\/strong><\/a>.
