So, if you feel lost and you <strong>don&#8217;t know what to study,<\/strong> here are some tips to guide you through the process.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What\u2019s the meaning of career assessment?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>What do you like to do? What are your strengths and weaknesses? How do you see yourself in a few years? What would you like to work on? These are just some of the questions that can be part of the career assessment done by a <strong>guidance counselor.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The aim is helping you to discover your profile in order to choose those <a href=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/en\/academic-offer\/\">studies<\/a> that best suit your interests. With<strong> career counseling y<\/strong>ou will get the tools to make the best decision of <strong>what you should study<\/strong> and to guide your professional future towards success.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What should I study? <\/strong><strong>How to choose the right university?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>If you don\u2019t know <strong>what to study,<\/strong> don\u2019t worry at all. There are a lot of tools that will help you with your decision. You can start, for example, by attending university fairs to get a general idea of all the university options to choose from.<\/p>\n<p>Get as much information as possible: search online for <a href=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/en\/bachelor-degree-in-hospitality-and-tourism-management\/\">university studies<\/a>, attend open days, deep into the study plan of the bachelor\u2019s degrees you\u2019re interested in, their <a href=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/en\/learning-by-doing\/\">methodology,<\/a> the <a href=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/en\/success-stories\/\">success stories<\/a> of former students, etc.<\/p>\n<p>During the <strong>university guidance process<\/strong>, you can also do a <strong>career test or a career quiz<\/strong> to know what to study. It is not 100% effective, but it can help you confirm what\u2019s your calling.<\/p>\n<p>Once you have decided the field of study that interests you the most, inquire about the <strong>university degrees with best job prospects.<\/strong> Search for reports about what is the job market looking for, ask for the professional opportunities of the bachelor\u2019s degree you\u2019re considering study, the job placement rate of the graduates of that university, etc.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Vocational coach<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>If all mentioned is not enough for you to know<strong> what to study,<\/strong> you still have more resources: the guidance of a <strong>vocational coach. <\/strong>The vocational coach will give you even more tools to make the best decision and to guide your studies and your professional path towards success.<\/p>\n<p>There are different ways to find a vocational coach. You can search on the Internet, there you\u2019ll probably find <a href=\"https:\/\/buscatucoach.com\/\">directories<\/a> of vocational coach and websites of career coaching professionals.<\/p>\n<p>Linkedin is another way to find a career coach. And don\u2019t forget to ask your friends or in your college, maybe someone knows a guidance counselor that you can feel comfortable with to begin the <strong>career assessment<\/strong> process.<\/p>\n<p>And one last tip to discover <strong>what to study<\/strong>: Don&#8217;t put off your decision until the last minute! Career assessment is a long process and being well informed requires your time and dedication.
