M\u00e9ndez University (UAGM) Carolina Campus in Puerto Rico<\/a> and the University College of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts of Sant Pol de Mar (EUHT StPOL) have signed a collaboration agreement to promote student exchange between both universities.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement was signed by the rector of the Carolina Campus of the UAGM, Dr. Felix R. Huertas Gonz\u00e1lez, and by the Managing Director &amp; CEO of EUHT StPOL, Llu\u00eds Serra; in a virtual meeting that took place yesterday, September 7, 2021.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThis collaboration agreement means mutual enrichment for both institutions, but also and, above all, for students who will benefit from sharing experiences at EUHT StPOL and UAGM and acquiring new knowledge in an industry, such as <strong>hospitality and culinary arts<\/strong>, in which having an international profile is very important\u201d, stated Llu\u00eds Serra.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The agreement includes cooperation between universities to promote the exchange of students in different academic programs of both institutions, specialized in hospitality management, tourism, culinary arts and kitchen management.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;The exchange of knowledge in the hospitality industry is an added value, and even more in a post Covid-19 scenario in which the industry seeks and will continue to seek the best-trained professionals,&#8221; said Serra.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]With this agreement, EUHT StPOL and UAGM resume the interrelation that they maintained years ago and through which different UAGM students participated in the <a href=\"https:\/\/santpol.edu.es\/en\/summer-courses\/?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=post&amp;utm_campaign=acuerdoUAGM\"><strong>summer courses<\/strong><\/a><strong> in hotel management and culinary arts <\/strong>at our university.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;We hope that this alliance will serve as a bridge between the Caribbean and Spain, in this case, between Puerto Rico and Sant Pol de Mar &#8211; Barcelona, so that we can continue developing different projects,&#8221; said the rector of the Carolina Campus of the UAGM , Dr. Felix R.
