[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On Friday, November 26, took place the Graduation Ceremony of the students who finished their studies at EUHT StPOL during the 2020\/2021 academic year. The event, which could also be followed live on YouTube, was attended by Mr. Pere Monje, general manager of Via Veneto restaurant in Barcelona, who gave the master lecture of the Graduation Ceremony.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

During the master lecture, Monje reviewed the history of the Via Veneto<\/a> restaurant, awarded with a Michelin star and three Soles Repsol, and recalled that now more than ever is a good moment to start your career in the hospitality industry.<\/strong> According to Monje, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the lockdwon everyone has realized the importance of restaurants and hotels.<\/p>\n

During his speech, and as a result of his experience, he shared some advice with the graduating students, such as, for example, the need to not to forget that a restaurant or a hotel is also a business and you have to know how to manage it . And he encouraged the students to lead the transformation of the hospitality industry.<\/p>\n

First Graduation with online programs<\/strong><\/h2>\n

During the Graduation Ceremony, the diplomas were delivered to the students who completed their studies in 2020\/2021 in one of this academic programs: Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Tourism Management,<\/a> Technical Degree in Gastronomy and Restaurant Service,<\/a> Master in Hospitality Management<\/a> and\u00a0 Master in Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cl\u00e0udia Masoni, extraordinary award for the best academic record<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The vice-rector of Communication and External Relations of the University of Girona and delegate of the rector for affiliated centers, Dr Jose Antonio Donaire, presented the extraordinary award for the Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Tourism Management for the best academic record. In this edition, the recognition went to Cl\u00e0udia Masoni, student of the class 2020\/2021.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”56251″ img_size=”400×300″ alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Double diploma for the Bachelor\u2019s degree students<\/strong><\/h2>\n
