Disfrutar Barcelona, a regular collaborator with EUHT StPOL, has achieved its third star, becoming the fifth Catalan restaurant with the highest Michelin distinction.<\/p>\n<p>Barcelona hosted the Michelin Guide Spain 2024 gala, awarding up to 34 new stars. Among the honored restaurants, <strong>Disfrutar<\/strong> (Barcelona) and <strong>Noor<\/strong> (C\u00f3rdoba) stand out, both earning their third star, while <strong>Venta Moncalvillo<\/strong> (Daroca de Rioja) secured their second.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;59911&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><strong>EUHT StPOL, in the most recognized location<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Between Barcelona and Girona, the high-demand culinary environment at EUHT StPOL has once again been acknowledged. Catalonia maintains its status as the Spanish region with the most stars,<strong> totaling 71 distributed across 54 restaurants.<\/strong> This year, besides Disfrutar&#8217;s third star, <strong>Quiralt<\/strong> i <strong>Suto<\/strong> in Barcelona earned their first star. Emporium (Girona) and Algadir del Delta also received a green star, recognizing their efforts to minimize their carbon footprint.<\/p>\n<p>At least seven <strong>chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants conduct master classes at EUHT StPOL<\/strong> for our students every academic year. Over 25 Michelin-starred chefs have collaborated with EUHT StPOL, including nine with three stars and seven with two stars. Michelin-starred restaurants also serve as internship destinations for EUHT StPOL students across various academic programs. Among them, <strong>Josep Roca<\/strong> of <strong>Celler de Can Roca<\/strong> (Girona) was named the best sommelier; <strong>Joan Carles Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez<\/strong> of <strong>Lasarte<\/strong> (Barcelona) received the award for the best service in the dining room; and <strong>Martina Puigvert<\/strong> was honored as the best young chef for her work at <strong>Les Cols<\/strong> (Olot).
