Last weekend, four students from EUHT StPOL participated in the semifinals of the 3rd National Cooking School Competition #ProturChef2019: Jonatan Lozano, Oriol Peidró, Henrique Cortat and Pachi Rodríguez, students of the Master in Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management.
They all agree that they decided to get into the contest with the aim to take advantage of a new opportunity to continue learning and to explore new ideas and proposals in the kitchen sector. According to the competition’s rules, they submitted a recipe with cod as the main and mandatory ingredient and a second recipe of free choice. Their proposals made them finalists in the contest, held at the Protur Biomar Gran Hotel & Spa in Sa Coma, Mallorca (Spain).
There, they had to cook in maximum 90 minutes their recipe proposals in front of a jury. They were the ones who decided that one of them, Jonatan Lozano, could reach the final stage of the contest. Finally, he was crowned with the second place, thanks to his recipe entitled “Lima people.”
