EUHT StPOL students have visited the Feria Alimentaria (International food and drinks exhibition) collaborating in the Lounge Alimentaria space.
Alimentaria is an international exhibition, one of the gastronomic fairs joined by the 14 most important exhibitions of the industry. It is a business meeting point for the professionals of the food and drinks industry. Here the gastronomy innovations and new trends are shown. Brands from all over the world (50 countries) expose there their products.
During the exhibition, EUHT StPOL students have helped with the service and the hospitality in the Lounge Alimentaria space, it is a closed area reserved to high level professionals, those able to make business with the different areas shown in the exhibition. Lounge Alimentaria is a space where this participants can have a rest, read specialized press and have some snacks and drinks.
This year, The Alimentaria Hub has been the exhibition’s star: where the innovation, trends and internationalitation have been focussed.
An important new this year has been “The Alimentaria Experience”: a new area where about 50 Spanish high level chefs like Joan Roca, Pedro Subijana, Quique Dacosta, Carme Ruscalleda and Juan Mari Arzak were participating. It was a luxury space: about 50 Michelin stars participated in an innovative show that breaks with the standards and where visitors can enjoy a unique gastronomy experience attending amazing cooking demonstrations.
