How to become the general manager of the biggest RIU Palace hotel worldwide?

Yeray Zurita is one of our #StPOLAlumni. He studied the Master in Hospitality Management at EUHT StPOL and now he is the General Manager of Riu Palace Santa Maria 5*, the biggest RIU Palace hotel worldwide.

In its corporate blog, RIU Hotels & Resorts has published an article about one of our #StPOL Alumni: Yeray Zurita. The article explains the professional path of Zurita in this hotel group, after studying the Master in Hospitality Management at EUHT StPOL.

Yeray Zurita, #StPOL Alumni

In 2007 Yeray Zurita started at RIU hotel chain. It was in his native Canarias as assistant manager of up to 8 hotels.

Three years later, he began his career on the African continent as assistant manager at the Riu Funana Hotel, the first RIU hotel in Cape Verde that opened in Isla de Sal in 2005. Four years after his arrival in the country, in 2014, he became general manager of the Riu Touareg, in Boavista.

Now, in 2021, he is the general manager of the biggest hotel that RIU Palace has worldwide: RIU Palace Santa Maria, with 1.001 rooms.
