Patrick Rodríguez studied the Master in Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management in the University College of Hospitality Management and Culinary arts of Sant Pol de Mar (EUHT StPOL), Barcelona last year. He did his internship in Moments, the two Michelin star restaurant lead by the chef Carme Ruscalleda in the hotel Mandarin Oriental Barcelona.
Working in a fine dining two Michelin star restaurant is intense but it’s definitely rewarding every single day.
He studied chemistry and worked several years in this industry, but “my real passion it’s always been food”, says Rodríguez. So, he came to Barcelona to study “because it is renowned for its food industry; modern cuisine and also Catalan cuisine”.
